Another Song

We wrote another song last night.  I guess we’re on a role.  Dave has the lyrics written on a napkin in his guitar case so I guess we’ll have to wait and see if he posts them.  Dave K. wrote the lyrics and I wrote the guitar riff.

I think the song could be interpreted to be about Robertson’s Liquid Apple Pie (Everclear and apple cider).  Or it could be about snow or ice or something.  Or about Chris’ beard.  It’s pretty open-ended, just the way I like it.

If Dave posts the lyrics you should let us know what you think they’re about.  Maybe that way we’ll know what our fans like and we can avoid those things at all costs.

  1. Can You Believe All The Snow Out Here

Each line is an entity in itself
Grab a hold and pull it off the shelf
By this time your mind is inside out
Beat up and battered full out doubt
Snowy ice which he inspects, wipes it off with all that windex
Melting rhythm and codex, codes with As in convex

Fell off the beaten track, waiting for my beard to grow back
This ice is thanks enough for me

Pour a line cold or hot
This car runs on 45 jigawats
It burns, this shot of liquid ice
belly’s to the bar to roll the dice
    Senses tangled in this epifanie
As I gaze across this frozen sea

Fell off the beaten track, waiting for my beard to grow back
This ice is thanks enough for me
