Last night Dave and I went to Main Stage in Waukesha for their open jam night (and 2 for one special). A few musicians showed up including Dave Pawl, Matt Miller and Charlie Pyng from Sweetheart Tripwire. (Matt helps put the happenings together for these jams and Dave Pawl let me know about it.) Tom May was there with his boner. He has pictures (see below). We jammed with a couple other guys that are really good too. I didn’t catch their names but that didn’t stop us from producing a couple 10 minute blues jams. A Cake meadley was started with Jolene, then The Distance, then some other stuff that eventually turned into another 10 minute blues jam. I think most things at Main Stage turn into a blues jam at one point or another. It’s just in the atmosphere.
